Dear Chamber Members:

 On behalf of the Board of Directors, I am pleased to announce the 2010 Van Buren Chamber of Commerce Annual Banquet, an event designed to celebrate Van Buren business and community success.  This May 1st event will be a exhilarating event for our chamber and our community.  This is a celebratory evening that you, your employees, and your guests will not want to miss. 

This is also your OPPORTUNITY to reach the business community of the Van Buren area!  This event allows you to network and learn more about the local business community.  With Business Fair 2010 your business will be front and center at the largest gathering of Van Buren / Crawford County business and community leaders.  Over 375 people attended the event last year!  Business Fair 2010 is being held in the Van Buren School District Fine Arts Center grand lobby and the Commons Area entrances.   Businesses will have the opportunity to display products and services to hundreds of potential customers.  If you have a business, or do business in Crawford County, this is one event you won’t want to miss!

As a Chamber member, there are several ways in which you can be a part of the event.   Banquet Sponsorships are the most prominent way to recognize your business.  Most sponsorship levels include not only reserved tables and tickets but also other tools to market your business.  In addition, Platinum, Gold and Silver sponsorships include a FREE Business Fair booth and other advertising. 

Chamber members are also encouraged to participate in the Silent Auction.  Your contribution of an item for the silent auction gives you the opportunity to highlight your company in a display that will be viewed throughout the evening.  We will work with you to use your auction item to highlight your business by clearly displaying your organization’s name, information about your business and by placing some of your business cards on the table with your donated item.   The items and information will be displayed during the entire evening.   

Our community, like most others across the country is challenged by the current business environment.  However, we have capitalized on the opportunities that are available.  We have added not only new, vibrant members to our Chamber of Commerce, but we have added companies that are creating jobs. 

The Van Buren Chamber of Commerce looks forward to working with you, our members, to make 2010 a wonderful business year because business matters.  Show that you too believe that business matters through your participation and support of the Chamber Annual Banquet and Business Fair.
