Love hired as Van Buren Chamber Marketing & Communication Manager

Ashley Love has been hired as the Van Buren Chamber of Commerce’s new Communication & Marketing Manager.

“We are thrilled to welcome Ashley to the Van Buren Chamber of Commerce,” shared Board Chair David Young. “This is a new position and we believe Ashley’s extensive background in business and marketing is the right fit for the job. Over the last few years, we have significantly expanded communications with our members and the community. Ashley’s expertise will help us build upon these efforts and take our organization to the next level."

A Van Buren High School alum, Love recently relocated back to her hometown after living in Conway for 15 years.

She is pleased to be back in the River Valley and for the opportunity to serve the community she calls home.
“My family and I are so happy to be here in Van Buren. It is an exciting time for this region, with so much progress place throughout the city. I look forward to working with all of the wonderful individuals, businesses, and organizations that comprise the Chamber.”

Love holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing Management from the University of Central Arkansas (UCA).

In Conway, she served as Director of Operations for Deliver Hope, a non-profit that supports at-risk teens through mentoring and tutoring. Prior to Deliver Hope, Love oversaw marketing, finances, and development at the UCA’s Reynolds Performance Hall. During her tenure, event attendance increased by more 30%, with nearly 80% of events selling out.

Love also held the position of Director of Special Events for UCA where she planed and executed events for all departments across campus. In 2014, she was named a finalist for UCA’s Employee of the Year and was nominated multiple times for Employee of the Quarter.

In her new role, Love will oversee the Chamber’s social media, special events marketing, media relations, e-communications, and web presence. She will also develop advertising materials and manage all public relations activities for the organization.
