"This event showcases some of what UAFS does best building powerful connections\, fostering the incredible talent of our students\, and serving our River Valley community."\n\nAt 3:30 the UAFS Jazz Band and the UAFS Jazz Catz will kick off the afternoon. Then the Fort Smith Symphony will take the stage at 5 p.m.\, performing a repertoire of Fort Smith favorites\, including scores from Star Wars\, Top Gun\, and Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone\; Nirvana's rock and roll classic Smells Like Teen Spirit\, performed by Jolt Electric String Quartet\; and traditional symphonic works.\n\nAttendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs\, blankets\, and picnic baskets to the event.
