DESCRIPTION:Join Our Blood Institute at the Van Buren Public Library for a blood drive! \n\n\n\nOur Blood Institute currently only has 1 - 2 day supply of blood due to cancelled blood drives and appointments from inclement weather. If you are able to\, please stop by the Van Buren Public Library to donate blood that could help save a life!\n\n\n\nFor more information on the current blood shortage\, click here. \n\n\n\nAnyone who is healthy and 16 years old* or older can give blood. Appointments to donate can be made online at obi.org or by calling 877-340-8777. Walk-ins are also welcome. \n\n \n\n*16-year-olds must weigh at least 125 pounds and provide signed parental permission\; 17-year-olds must weigh at least 125 pounds\; 18+ year olds must weigh at least 110 pounds. Photo ID required.
