A Taste of History

Arts On Main's culinary kitchen will bring the Corner House to life in its A Taste of History, a new series of culinary experiences. Linda Mankins, owner operator of the Corner House in Fort Smith from 1985 until 2000, and UAFS History Professor Tom Wing (a Corner House regular) will discuss the history of the popular lunch spot while Linda prepares some fan favorites. Attendees will be treated to lunch, compelling discussion, and come away with some closely guarded recipe secrets including the iconic Corner House Blue Cheese Dressing recipe.

Coming soon! A Taste of History will feature heirloom recipe books from the Drennen-Scott family, favorites of prominent turn-of-the-century families of Fort Smith, and "roast your own expresso" are in the works.
