    New network building events in 2022 include the Battle of the Business Bowling Tournament and the Local Lunch for restaurants.  BE PRO BE PROUD and Connecting Educators in Industry are focused on building the workforce pipeline for our community.  Also new this year are two annual program sponsorships, the Governmental Affairs Committee, and the Chamber Ambassadors, both focused on advocacy for a strong, business friendly climate in our community, county, and state.

  • 2024 Hometown Hero Banner Application Now Open!

    The Van Buren Chamber is currently accepting applications for 2024 Hometown Hero Banners. These banners are a wonderful way for Van Buren to pay tribute to veterans and current service members.

    The Hometown Hero Banner program honors those who have served or are currently serving in the military. They consist of individualized banners with a picture of the hero, their name, and the branch in which they served. The banners hang in Historic Downtown Van Buren from Memorial Day through Veterans Day for two years, with storage in the winter months. The service member being honored does not have to be a current or former resident of Van Buren or Crawford County.

    Banners are also able to be given as a gift or surprise to a loved one of the honoree or to the honoree themselves. Upon purchase of the banner, the Van Buren Chamber can provide a Certificate of Honor to be presented to the recipient.
