These include the Van Buren School District, Crawford County Adult Education Center, the University of Arkansas-Fort Smith, and Arkansas Tech University-Ozark Campus, among others. These valued members work closely with The Chamber to promote educational opportunities for citizens and to help strengthen the region’s overall workforce.

The Van Buren School District is a key partner to The Chamber. The Chamber’s Education and Workforce Committee sponsors the Arkansas Scholars program at VBSD, provides an annual scholarship, and hosts events to connect educators to local industry. The Chamber also supports District leaders and staff throughout the year, through the promotion of school events and activities.
Higher education and adult education institutions are also crucial to developing a qualified workforce. Members have unique opportunities available to them through The Chamber, including special workshops and courses. Chamber members are among the first to hear about business fairs and employment expos.
