Interested in fabric art? Artist Barbara Cade will give a lecture about her sculptural fabric art techniques and process. Her fabric artwork is on display at the Center For Art & Education February 9 - 21. At this artist talk, Cade will discuss the development of her series BONFIRE, inspired after seeing the environmental disasters during her time on the west coast, which turned her series from a celebration of nature into a series dedicated preserving it. The Center For Art & Education is pleased to present the annual River Valley Student Art Competition which allows students in grades K-12 to showcase their artwork in a juried exhibition.
