Business After Hours was held on September 19, 2023 hosted by the University of Arkansas - Fort Smith. It was a night filled with network building, delicious refreshments, and door prizes. A Ribbon Cutting and Grand Opening was held on September 12, 2023 for the Firstar Bank newly remodeled Van Buren branch located on Webster Street in Van Buren. A Ribbon Cutting was held on September 6, 2023 to celebrate the public restrooms in Blanche Moore Park in Downtown Van Buren that were renovated by the Van Buren Rotary Club. The Van Buren Rotary Club provided a much needed update to these restrooms with fresh paint, new toilet seats, and adding baby changing stations in both the men's and women's bathrooms. A Member Workshop was held at the Van Buren Police Department on August 31, 2023 on Social Media Marketing. Attendees learned about the do's and don'ts of social media for businesses, how to utilize free social media tools, and how to create paid advertisements on social media. Following the presentation was a great questions and answers session, and sharing of best practices between those in attendance.
