PL Jr Inspector Job Summary:

The PL Jr Inspector reports directly to the Drain Inspection Manager and is responsible for the following:

Duties/Responsibilities:

· Supports the Inspection Manager, Estimator, & Sales Team.

· Travels daily to customer site(s) to locate lines, conduct CCTV inspections, sketch project details, & provide detailed narrative.

· Communicates with customers efficiently. Is the first impression to our customers.

· Operates CCTV drain cameras, line locators, cleaning equipment, and jetters.

· Conducts smoke testing.

· Maintains inspection truck, its stock, & all inspection equipment.

· Takes proper care of work equipment and reports any malfunctions or issues to the supervisor for incident reporting.

· Coordinates with the Inspection Manager or the Repair Division for speedy repair or replacement of affected equipment.

· Builds possible game plans for the estimation team.

· Starts, transfers, and cleans tape marks to gather accurate measurements.

· Submits clear notes and sketches for each job.

· Updates appropriate checklists and odometer readings daily.

· Review and upload required videos based on job stages for each job.

· Maintains knowledge of NuFlow drain installation and processes.

· Updates inventory system (equipment and materials) as needed.

· Maintains the cleanliness of the work vehicle.

· Reports any customer issues to the Foreman or Inspection Manager.

· Respectfully honors customers’ wishes.

· Maintains respect for peers.

· Maintains current DOT medical card.

· Follows and upholds safety standards.

· Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

· Ability to use a variety of tools with minimal guidance.

· Good verbal and written communication skills.

· Ability to listen, understand, and follow directions.

· Must have a clean driving record and current driver’s license.

Education and Experience:

· Minimum some experience in plumbing or pipe lining required.

· Job training for this position is provided.

Physical Requirements:

· Prolonged periods of standing and walking.

· Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds at times.

· Manual dexterity as needed to operate a variety of machinery and equipment.

· Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions.

· Must be willing to travel up to 25%.
