    New network building events in 2022 include the Battle of the Business Bowling Tournament and the Local Lunch for restaurants.  BE PRO BE PROUD and Connecting Educators in Industry are focused on building the workforce pipeline for our community.  Also new this year are two annual program sponsorships, the Governmental Affairs Committee, and the Chamber Ambassadors, both focused on advocacy for a strong, business friendly climate in our community, county, and state.

  • Scenes from What's Brewing in the River Valley held on April 25, 2024

    More than 40 people attended the first What's Brewing in the River Valley hosted on April 25, 2024 by the VFW Robert Jack Post 1322. Those in attendance heard from Crawford County Judge Chris Keith and from Reese Brewer, Directory of Frontier MPO, on economic development and community development projects in Crawford County. Judge Keith spoke about the grant for new walking trails at the Diamond Center Complex. Reese Brewer informed those in attendance of the grant that was awarded for a new intermodal port that will increase barge handling capacity for Five Rivers Distribution. Attendees also got the opportunity to network, enjoy morning refreshments, and hear a bit from the VFW Robert Jack Post 1322 on what they do and the services they offer.
