“Nothing Matters Until Somebody Sells Something”:
This is the first in a series of brown bag business training classes to instruct participants in the pillars of running a successful small business and to familiarize them with the free resources that are available to them. This initial class will focus on:
David is the Deputy Director of the Small Business Administration in Arkansas. He previously founded and ran Jacksson David, LLC, a consulting firms focused on high growth and technology companies. An honor graduate with a Masters’ degree in Public Administration, David joined NASA through the Presidential Management Internship Program. He worked in the aerospace industry for 13 years, serving as a program analyst, manager and consultant for the Shuttle, Space Lab and Space Station programs. Since leaving the aerospace industry, David has owned and operated several businesses in the fields of risk management, retail, battery technology and business consulting. As a former consultant focused on startup, high growth and technology businesses, he has helped commercialize products and services in the areas of nanotechnology, biotechnology, medical devices, software as a service, online retail, and energy technology. He has been married to Gwen for 35 years, serves in their church, is a father of two, grandfather of two, a drummer, and blogger at @StartupDad.
