    Viki Kilgore Named Chairperson “For the Love of Books 2026 Edition”

    VAN BUREN, Ark.— Viki Kilgore of Van Buren, Arkansas is once again chairing the Crawford County Library Foundation’s fundraiser “For the Love of Books 2026 Edition” to be held on February 7, 2026, 6:00 p.m. at the U.S. Marshals Museum in Fort Smith. Viki also serves as Vice President of the Board of Directors. Viki stated, “it is my honor to chair this worthy event for the 3rd year, and we welcome Karen Pharis, General Manager of the Fort Smith Radio Group and co-host of Morning in the Fort on “The Marshall 103.5” as our Emcee.” Last year’s edition was a spectacular success with over 200 attending. We have a fabulous venue overlooking the Arkansas River and a romantic evening of great food by Golden Corral Catering, entertainment by GrandMaster P, a raffle for bottle of champagne, candy and rose bouquet. Auctioneer Chris Boerjon will once again auction several unique gifts that provide great fun for our guests and the funds raised help our libraries so much. This year’s items include 3 Arts on Main fabulous experiences, tickets to King Opera, artwork, Trout Fishing Trip on the Roaring River in Missouri & lodging at Paradise Valley Resort, and a 3 day stay in a Destin, Florida Condo. A new addition to the evening will be the Main Street Trolley, Van Buren providing transportation from the parking lot to the entrance of the United States Marshal Museum.

    Shamrock Wine and Liquor Warehouse is the Presenting Sponsor; Generations Bank is the Entertainment Sponsor, MyHR Professionals is the Photography Sponsor and Dorvan & Mikie Wiley are the Raffle Sponsors. Table sponsorships for 10 guests are Diamond $1,000, Gold $750 & Siver $600. Any donation is greatly appreciated.
