  • Mulberry History Trails Finds a Home at Workman’s Travel Center

New historical exhibit invites residents and travelers to discover the people, places, and stories that shaped Mulberry, Arkansas.

MULBERRY, ARKANSAS | October 2026 — A new opportunity to explore Mulberry’s rich history has arrived at Workman’s Travel Center, located at 1945 N. Main Street in Mulberry, Arkansas, with the installation of the Mulberry History Trails exhibit.

Mulberry History Trails is a community-focused historical initiative designed to preserve and share the stories that have shaped Mulberry and the surrounding Arkansas River Valley. Through a collection of historical exhibits, photographs, and digital storytelling, the project brings local heritage to life for residents, visitors, and future generations.

The installation at Workman’s Travel Center provides a convenient place for travelers and community members to pause, explore, and connect with the area's past. By placing local history in an everyday gathering place, the exhibit makes Mulberry’s heritage accessible beyond traditional museums and historical institutions.

A Small Town. A World of Stories.

From the town’s early settlement and railroad development to its historic Main Street, notable residents, and colorful local legends, the collection offers a fascinating look at the history behind familiar places.
